Day 5 – The Crucifixion

Preparation:

Bible (Matthew 27:27–56)

App ready

Sticky notes or index cards and pens

Visuals (cross, crown of thorns, nails, etc.)

Purpose:

To remember the cost of sin and the sacrifice Jesus made to redeem us.

Plan:

Display the items. Open in prayer, then read Matthew 27:27–56.

Give time for reflection. Have each person write sins on sticky notes and place them on the cross.

Close in prayer, thanking God for forgiveness through Christ. Then remove the notes, crumple them, and throw them away as a visual reminder that our sins are forgiven.
